The girls and I are heading to Disneyland CA soon. They will be taking part in the Dance the Magic workshops and dancing in the parade down main street.
I am hoping I can get off the grounds one day.
Can anyone recommend a fabric store near by that I can get to with public transit or a cheap taxi ride?

You must visit M & L Fabrics, on Ball, almost to the corner of Knott (as in Knott's Berry Farm). It has fantastic prices, and more fabric than you can imagine, it's quite an experience!
