At last the two memory quilts are completed.  They have actually been delivered and will be given as Christmas gifts.  The mother couldn't have been more happy with the results. I could tell by the tears.  She knows the quilts will continue to bring herself and her children comfort in the coming years.

  16. I'm in the cutting out stage of a pinwheel quilt for my neighbor. She is moving away, I may have to sew pins into the batting so she knows how upset I am about this. But she's been a great friend and minus the pins, I want to give her something to remember us by.
    My nephew recently passed away and I approached his widow with the offer to make several memory quilts. Unfortunately I don't think she understood what I was offering and said she didn't want any Tshirt quilts. I love what you've done. Thanks for the giveaway.

  50. I am currently in the process of FMQ two different quilts one that my mother did for my niece and the other one I am going to be gifting to a close family friend for use in their RV. I also started a small baby quilt that I decided to do with some FQ's, and now I am on the hunt for a yard of material that will coordinate and finish the top so that I may give it to our neighbor since her daughter is expecting their first grandchild. So much to do and would love to win these Moda fabrics. Thanks for the opportunity.

  127. you are not really asking for a (single) sewing project?!? ...there are tons of them, the bee blocks that need to be made, 2 doll quilts, several tops want a border, one wants squaring up, another one is missing one block... and that's just the projects that are not boxed up until nect year - for after christmas more calm thinking and decision making time ..

  128. Do you want the list? My main project is a quilt for my daughter. It's a Dreamweaver quilt from the Craftsy course, Quick Strip Paper Piecing. I'm also working on two BOMs, which are way behind... A quilted tree skirt done in purples, because my decorations are purple. A Nativity cloth book for my grandson, plus a couple of baby quilts. etc. When I get bored with one project, I jump to another.
