Off to Japan

Not me, (i wish) but this kit is off to Japan.
The kit is being sent with many others as the second part of Quilts for Japan project called Threads of Hope  to help the survivors of the tsunami.

Each kit will have instructions in Japanese to make a quilt completely by hand. This quilt is a 4" square quilt with 42 blocks, complete with batting, and backing.
I included an extra pouch so they could keep some of their supplies in it.  I hope they like the colours.

Many of the survivors are still in temporary housing and are in need of something to do. These kits should help them keep their hands busy.

Happy Stitching!

  1. What a wonderful gift ... The recipient will be so happy to receive this.

  2. Such simple things we can do for those in need. Someone is going to love having such a special gift.

Thanks for stopping to view my blog. Please leave me a comment and tell me what you think of my projects.
