Old and New

I had a fabulous weekend at Calgary's Heritage Park 18th Annual Festival of Quilts.
What is Heritage Park you ask?  Well it is an park that has many old  houses, buildings etc from in and around the Calgary area.  It is an interactive park with docents in most of the buildings, actors performing along the main street in period costumes.  A working full size steam engine travels around the park and there is even a paddle boat that cruises around the water reservoir.  The whole park is a wonderful setting to display quilts.  This is not a juried show, but rather a place to showcase the quilters of Calgary and area!  Over 700 quilts were on display.  (one being mine).  I will let the pictures do the talking!

Mine!  I heard a few ooohhs and aaahhhs!

I wil have some more pictures up tomorrow!
