I am trying to get through a few UFO’s this winter before the busy(ier) dance season of my girls starts in April with multiple dance competitions out of town.
Some of the reasons these UFO’s aren’t completed is because I am questioning what to do next, how to finish them, quilt them, back them etc. So for my next couple of blog entries I will be asking your advice.
I started this one back in the fall. Blogged about here. I had taken inspiration from all the falling leaves at the time. If I took inspiration now it would be an all white quilt! I didn’t follow any pattern, just made it up as I went along, using only stash fabrics.
I have since assembled the top and added a border with crumb corner stones. Do you think I need to add another border?
As soon as something is laid on the floor Lily is there to check it out, like an inspector. I don’t know how she can hear a quilt being laid out when she is a whole floor away? Yet she can’t come in from outside when we call her.
Happy Sewing!

It's fabulous - I like it just the way it is!
ReplyDeleteI like it that way it is too. Start quilting it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt. Looks to me ready for quilting!

ReplyDeleteI think it's ready for quilting - and it would be neat if your binding echoed that inner border.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! What a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteNo other border needed. Love the inner border by the way.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I would add another border. That sudden jolt of dark needs softening, IMHO.
