First finish of 2012

Commissioned by my friend for her husband's birthday!

I bet he wishes he has it already.
We went into a deep freeze last night. -25*C today with windchill of -30*C. yuck
I am staying in baking and doing laundry.
tomorrow some quilting!!
What is keeping you warm this winter?  Or cool if you are so lucky?

Happy Stitching

  1. What kind of quilting style is that I like how the ragged edges look. I have made a couple rag quilts and love your quilt. Maybe its a man thing.

  2. Brrr....and my daughter reports -39 in Calgary. So happy to be semi-retired, and able to pick and choose (mostly) when I go outdoors). But this morning had to dig out a small patch for the dog to be able to get outside - could have wished for a doggy litter box about then. What a lovely quilt, and such an early year finish! Keeping warm with tea and quilts!
