finally a moment!

AAAAhhhhh finally moment to put my feet up and watch TV and cruise on the internet! This past week has been incredibly busy. My daughter and i spent 3 days last week at her dance competition about 1.5 hrs from home. although there was a hectic dance schedule I did manage to get some sewing time in. Like they say "If there is a will there is a way." I took my machine and my "Diamond or Squares" quilt to get the sashing on. I was successful in getting them on and having the bed in the room let me see it on a bed right away!

By the way my daughter did awesome at her competition. I was so proud of her.

The rest of the weekend was spent at work getting my Standard First Aid certificate. Whew glad that is finished too

It is finally starting to look like spring around here. The tulips are blooming yet, but I did see a couple of daffodils and crocus out, finally.

This week is about the same. I am working a couple of days, (substitute preschool teacher). Kids have soccer games, practice, dance classes, etc etc. I never stop.

Yesterday I did manage to get some maching quilting done on my "Lemonade" quilt. I just need another hour and I will have the top done. we are off to another dance competition this weekend, but the whole family will go with us this time and celebrate Mother's Day together.
